When Life Isn't Going Your Way.....

Do you complain about the heat on a hot day? Or when it rains or there’s a traffic tie-up on your way to work? How about when your garage door opener doesn’t work or you miss your flight?

Life isn’t going your way!

What if you get a serious medical diagnosis, or fired from your job? Or a global pandemic hits and the world shuts down?

Life isn’t going your way!

No matter the circumstance, big or small, what do you do when life isn’t going your way?

1.    Be aware that you’re powerless over things and other people. The only control you have is how you choose to react.

2.    Accept the situation and reframe it into a positive. Know that everything happens for our highest good and life is our best teacher. Ask yourself, “What can I learn from this experience?” Always look for the positive in all ways.

3.    Ask yourself, “How can I serve or contribute to the betterment of the situation, person, place or thing? How can I serve?” We are all here to walk each other home, so let’s hold hands and lift each other up in every situation, even when it’s not going OUR way!

“We can’t choose the music life plays for us, but we can choose how we dance to it.”

--Unknown

In other words: Life is unfolding perfectly, regardless if it’s going your way or not.

Flow with ease and joy no matter what. Things happen. Life happens. The only choice we have is in choosing how we respond as it does.

P.S. Remember to always, always, always go where love is
