Take A Shot

Have you ever heard of a God shot? God shots are big and little miracles that happen on a daily basis if you choose to listen. Albert Einstein defined God shots perfectly when he said, “Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous.”

Just the other day, I was confused and didn’t know what to do about a minor quality problem in my life. My challenge was with this client of mine that insisted I teach her late at night, which meant I often got home at midnight, after teaching all day.  Adoring my client and feeling confused about letting her down, I asked my personal God what to do. Well, that next morning I went to Peet’s coffee on Montana Avenue and bumped into a client of mine that happens to be a doctor. I mentioned I was exhausted from working until midnight and without missing a beat God spoke through him. He went on to to tell me what working late does to the circadian rhythms and it can take up to a week to feel normal again. He said that is why he personally quit being on call. I left feeling relieved on receiving my answer so promptly from my Universe.

Many years ago another coincidence happened. I asked my Higher Power at 5:30am, on my walk to Peet’s coffee whether my cell phone was bad for me, because I pressed it against my ear for hours at a time. As I asked the Universe for a sign my phone rang literally 5 minutes later. My friend Donna, knowing that I take walks before sunrise, was on the other end to tell me (out of the blue) that her client’s husband had brain cancer and they were attributing it to cell phones. Again I was overjoyed that God answered so quickly, but saddened by Donna’s client.

As you can see with the examples above, if you are struggling with a little or big problem, just ask the Universe or your God (of your own understanding) what to do. When you ask, wait and you will receive your God shot through a person, situation, billboard, intuitive thought or even through a bumper sticker. Pay attention because God works in miraculous ways.
