Catch Them Being Good
It was another day, steeped in frustration, in the therapist’s cold office with my seven-year-old, feeling helpless and hopeless. He was angry, I was frustrated and simply out of ideas about how to help him.
The therapist mentioned a book that might be helpful titled, “Catch Them Being Good”. I never did buy the book but got the gist, just by the title.
As a student of the Law of Attraction, I got busy focusing on all the great qualities of my son. I caught him being good at every turn. After a few months, I saw his traits I did not care for slowly fall away. The traits I admired and complimented continued to grow and flourish.
This process didn’t happen overnight, but began to take hold with practice and persistence.
Now, I focus on the good in my son, my husband, my friends, my students and my clients. This idea of acknowledging the goodness in people will transform not only their lives but yours as well, faster than most anything else.
Give goodness its due. Give it an honest chance to win the day. Give this phenomenal prescription a try and you may soon find out you can stop seeing a therapist, and your relationships will be filled with more harmony and ease.
Thank you for reading and sharing.
