Inside Job

Rumi was right.

If you don't have a temple in your heart you will never find your heart in the temple.

And our heart’s temple is needed now more than ever because churches, synagogues, temples and mosques are closed due to COVID-19. So, if we can’t find our hearts in the temple for a while, how about we create one in our home?

It’s simple, really.

  • Put on some nice meditation music to create a background of calm.

  • Light candles as a reflection of your own inner light and the light you wish to shine upon the planet.

  • Place a framed picture or symbol in your new space that represents your higher power.

  • If you wish, have some incense, flowers or meditation books there as well. Make it your own private sanctuary.

  • Open windows and let fresh air circulate as you flood as much air and sunlight in your sacred space.

As we stay safe at home, strive to keep your heart and spirit fulfilled, wherever you are.

-Think good thoughts

-Eat fresh foods

-Watch less news

-Stay in touch with family and friends. Tell people you love them and miss them.

-Place your hand on your heart at least once a day and remember a heartfelt memory

-If you like, say a short prayer every day.

-Meditate five minutes a day and focus on gratitude.

Rumi is still right. Our temples should always exists in our hearts! After all, Love is an inside job!

Stay Safe. ”Always, always, always go where the love is.”
