200% Responsibility
It’s his fault! It’s the traffic’s fault. It’s all because of the darn state of the world!
When we blame people, places and things we immediately become the victim.
Wouldn’t you rather be the victor rather than a victim.
After all, when you are pointing one finger at them, there are three fingers pointed back at you.
Put down your magnifying glass and pick up the mirror.
In Gay Hendrick’s book, “The Big Leap”, he talks about taking 100 percent responsibility for everything in your life.
Here’s how it works….
If there are two people or two countries in an argument, there is 200 percent.
If a couple is having an argument, both parties take 100% responsibility for their part in the situation, so there is a total of 200% . No victimization, finger pointing or blame.
The next time you have an issue with your partner, your clients or your general state of affairs, take a good look in the mirror. Use compassion and kindness for yourself and others, and clean up your 100% part in the situation. Decide how you’re going to make your wrong, right (with no blame or shame).
Know that you hold the key for your solution. Take a hundred percent responsibility today and become victorious.
