When you hear "the one percent", the first thing you probably think about is money? I am referring to a more well-rounded one percent in ALL areas of your life.
With this one simple technique you can become the one percent that lives a life of deep satisfaction in ALL areas of your life. You will be the top one percent mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Remember diving in snowbank or in a pile of leaves as kid without a complaint about the cold or the messiness of it all? What about those irresistible puddles that you splashed in? How about the excitement of catching an early morning flight when the sun had not even risen?
As we age, the thought of jumping in puddles or getting up early to catch a flight seems to lose its luster. Our zest seems to be tainted often with incessant complaining, condemning or criticism.
How can we change our perspective and actually live a life like the top one percent that live content most of the time? According to hypnotherapist Marisa Peer we need to start taking 100 percent responsibility for our lives and change the words and pictures in our minds. We can CHOOSE what we invite in our minds, similar to being conscious of who we let come into our homes.
By changing the negative words and pictures to positivity, it just takes conscious awareness. Peer mentions that overachievers have mastered using positive words and pictures, while underachievers use negative words and pictures.
Just like we update our computers and our phones, we need to update our thinking to get the bugs and viruses out. Get rid of your spam and junk folders today! What are you waiting for?
Most of us came into this world with curiosity and an excitement to fully explore. We weren’t tainted yet by the inherited fear passed down from our elders. We soon learned to become skeptics, cynics and wary of people.
Today CHOOSE to be the one percent and master your brilliant mind. Place great thoughts, words and pictures in your sacred mind and this one simple technique will undoubtedly raise you to the highest state mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Can illness be simplified as just a bad habit? If that is true then how can we put out our life size cigarette (us)and light something else? According to Dr. Joe Dispenza we just need to stop the habit of being ourselves and create a new self.
After Dr. Dispenza went around the world studying people that have had spontaneous remission of their illnesses, these are the four things he found these individuals had in common:
Now that you know you have the power to heal yourself with conscious effort to pave a new mental highway, get on your couch and put out that old predictable mental habit in the ashtray! Practice lighting up a new reality of what you want to show up in your life. But remember to take full ownership of how you have gotten to where you are, without blame. With your Creator’s help you can now co-create a better habit of being your new phenomenal self. Your new habit just takes practice with a daily dose of your mental rehearsal of your infinite potential.
Have you ever walked out of a movie because it was so bad? Maybe you felt it might give you nightmares or it made you really upset, or it was just so awful it wasn’t worth your time? You wouldn’t go back and watch it again, would you? Probably not.
So why do we do constantly replay awful memories from our childhood, or painful relationships, or traumatic events from our past? We just keep bringing them up over and over again like a bad habit, like smoking. Why do we rehearse them over and over again in our minds, or our speech, those awful events from our past? If you don’t want to live through those same old movies again, all you need to do is be conscious of when they start playing in your head. Then it’s just a matter of pressing the pause or stop button and putting a new film in your projector. It’s the act of awareness and then a choice to substitute one memory with a better one, or just be in the moment and focus on a better future.
Another wonderful visualization is imagining yourself walking out of that bad movie and walking right into a different one. It’s your choice, your movie, and ultimately your life.
Remember. You have the remote. You make the choices. You can always change your mental channel or change your mental page. Then your physical world will mirror your mental world when practiced enough.
Every thought is a prayer to the universe. And your universe is created by your thoughts.
As we move away from the addiction of rehearsing all the wrongs done “to us” and begin to take full responsibility for what we think and feel without playing the victim card, we begin to create more positive experiences. We start building fuller, happier lives.
Good mental movies create great thoughts, emotions, behaviors and results. So the next time that old movie starts playing in your head, turn it off and replace it with a new reel. And while you’re at it, give your new movie a new title.
How about, “It’s A Wonderful Life”.
Namaste. Please share if you like.
