My son, Ben, just got his best report card ever. I’d like to take some of the credit, but it turns out one of his teachers is crazy about kids and knows how to teach in an interactive and playful way. My son has had her for Economics, World History and Math and has thrived with her approach and style to teaching.
Being a dedicated mom and fascinated with her style of teaching, I hired her as a tutor in my home to see how she does it. She says she believes in kids and expects them to be brilliant and intelligent. Every one of them. She looks beyond any shortcomings or handicaps, focusing instead on their greatness.
You see what you look for.
This teacher is adept at the art of focusing on her students’ excellence. Children can feel when others are judging them or looking at them sideways, and will often act accordingly to what energy you are feeding them. They are sensitive by nature.
What energy are you sending your co-workers, students, children, spouses, or friends? They, too can smell, reflect, or mirror what message you send out.
Know that judgement is palpable, even as we age.
As I write this, it is my commitment to my friends and readers of this blog, that I will choose to look only for your brilliance.
Also, when teaching my 70 plus yoga students, I will look at them beyond that number and restriction and see them as infinitely youthful, vibrant, and ageless. Let’s see if my students begin to act accordingly, as I send out into the world a greater message of competency and greatness to those I work with.
In some ways, my son’s tutor has also become my teacher. She has shared with me her tool of rising above disabilities by simply seeing her students’ superbness.
If you like, please try this method as well. Let me know how it goes.

Can you imagine if we could record every thought we had during the day, and we could rewind it and listen to parts of it before we went to bed at night?
What would your mental chatter be babbling about inside your head? Rewinding the recorder, would you be bragging about all the incredibly genius things you did that day, or would you be insulting every move you made?
Unfortunately, most people I work with barrage themselves with constant insults, and then it spills over into the criticisms of others. Sadly, 90 percent of the individuals I know are immersed in self-criticism and are unceasingly marinating in constant negativity.
Did you know 80-to- 90 percent of the thoughts you had yesterday are the same ones you have today, according to Dr. Joe Dispenza?
How can we break that pattern of swimming in those same negative unconscious waters over and over again. The first step is awareness of the habits of thought. The second step is to replace those thoughts with thoughts that would serve you.
How about a 30 day challenge of consciously evicting negative thoughts out of your head.
Instead, choose to have a running discourse about how well your life is going. Deliberately celebrate how magical your life is. Acknowledge how blessed you are, and find things to commend yourself for. Glorify your greatness. Find jubilation in the little things. Revel in your uniqueness. Observe your strength. Proclaim your resilience.
You are excellent.
So for 30 days you will rewind that daily recording in the evening and it will be a running discourse of how much you love the smell of the flowers, her dress, his smile, the way the sun hits the water, the tasty meal, and on and on your mental chatter goes finding things to admire, appreciate, and approve of.
Congratulations, with your conscious awareness, your mental chatter is becoming a new 80-90 percent from this day forward. Marvel in your transformation. Yes, you did it!
Namaste. Thanks for reading and if you like it please share.
You are panicked beyond belief because you are being laid off and the rent is three months behind. The creditors are calling and you are using your credit cards to buy food for your family. You are paralyzed with fear. You want to hide under the covers and never get out.
There is nothing worse than money, health, or relationship problems! In this article we are discussing the topic of money.
Money problems can be debilitating, horrifying, and downright scary. Just know that no matter who you are, what you drive, or what your zip code is, money worries are a universal issue that does not uniquely belong to you.
The cure for money issues can be counter intuitive to what you might think. If you continue to get terror-stricken over your bank statements, credit card bills, and the reality of the situation, it will unfortunately get more atrocious. It is urgent that you switch from a lack mentality to prosperity thinking in order to make any dent in this situation. This can be challenging when in dire straits, but is truly the fastest and most cost effective strategy. Here are some steps you can take to alleviate your hysteria, right this minute;
1. Behold how abundant you are in your life i.e. health through sight, touch, smell, taste, or sound.
2. Observe all the abundant trees, clouds, water, flowers, blades of grass, and grains of sands that exist around you. In God’s world there is no lack.
3. Remind yourself how many beautiful friends you have in your life. Your friends may not be money in the bank, but they are way more valuable.
4. Contemplate the affluence of your intelligence, wisdom, creativity, and education.
If you are reading this you are truly fortunate. You have eyes to read and hands to hold the pages or computer. You where born abundant and you are truly bountiful. Focus on your lavishness in other areas of your life, and it will spill over to erase your lack thoughts around money.
You truly are wealthy and this money spook needs to be scared off by shedding light on where you are truly affluent. The best quote by Paul Chucks describes succinctly what I am trying to explain: “The secret to having it all is knowing you already do”. Remember thoughts about poverty create an impoverished outcome, and abundant thoughts creates an abundant outcome. It’s not fair that when you are distressed it feeds on itself, and it will get worse until you change your thoughts from lack to abundance, so you can change the equation. Truly easier said then done, but it must be achieved in order to dig out of this horrifying state of desperation.
Try this experiment and you are guaranteed to attract more abundance in your life, or I will give you a 100% full refund. I will personally deliver back to you all your negative thoughts around lack and money and see how that continues to work for you. Namaste.
